Chairman's Welcome
Welcome to the Edinburgh University Conservative and Unionist Association.
Established as one of the first university Conservative Associations in 1862, EUCUA boasts a distinguised alumni including Rt. Hon Sir Malcolm Rifkind KCMG (a former Chairman), the MPs Rt. Hon Michael Ancram & Charles Hendry and MSPs David McLetchie & Lord James Douglas-Hamilton.
We are a key player in Conservative Future Scotland (the 18-30 section of the part) and focus our energies on campaigning and a full social programme of speaker events. The highlights of this social calendar are our 130 seat Act of Union and Burns Night Supper, which have consistently had high-profile guests.
Over the past semester we have heard Michael Ancram, John Purvis MEP, Charles Hendry MP and have had a number of MSPs to our Christmas dinner. We have planned an exciting line-up for this semester which will be posted shortly to members.
